[The] Beefsteak Sandwich [was] test-marketed in New York and other East Coast markets in 1980 and as far west as Chicago were part of a McDonald’s “Dinner Menu”, offered only after 4:00 p.m. The Beefsteak Sandwich was essentially an elongated hamburger of a different quality served on a short French roll, similar to a sub or hero roll.

Steak sauce is a generic term for a dark brown sauce commonly served as a condiment for meat. These sauces are normally brown or orange in color and often made from tomatoes, spices, vinegar, and raisins and sometimes anchovies.

[Telly] Savalas’ most famous role was as the star of the television series Kojak. Lt. Theo Kojak was a bald New York City detective with a fondness for lollipops and whose trademark line was “Who loves ya, baby?”

Jell-O is a brand name belonging to U.S.-based Kraft Foods for a number of gelatin desserts, including fruit gels, puddings and no-bake cream pies. Jell-O also has an instant pudding product which is simply mixed with cold milk and then chilled.
