Folgers Happy Morning

Coffee is usually brewed immediately before drinking. In most areas, coffee may be purchased unprocessed, or already roasted, or already roasted and ground.

In 2006, the advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi created a viral advertisement, popularly known as “Happy Mornings,” for Folgers. The ad, in which a large group of impossibly cheerful singers and dancers appear at sunrise as the sun itself to wake people up, has been widely distributed on weblogs and video sites such as YouTube.

The best part of waking up is Folgers Singles in your cup

Folgers Coffee is a major brand of coffee in the US, part of the food and beverage division of Procter & Gamble. Folgers Crystals and Singles are available in Regular and Decaf.

The concept of pre-measured portions to be infused in disposable bags has also been applied to coffee, although this has not achieved such wide market penetration [as for tea] (similar to the market penetration of instant tea as compared to instant coffee).

Maxwell House Instant Coffee “Flavor Buds”

In 1942 General Foods Corporation, the successor to the Postum Company, began supplying soluble coffee to the U.S. armed forces. Beginning in the fall of 1945 this product, now branded as Maxwell House Instant Coffee, entered test markets in the eastern U.S. and began national distribution the following year.

One of the advantages of instant coffee is its simplicity of preparation compared to other forms of coffee. It is very difficult to accidentally spoil the product during the rehydration process, and simple instructions are printed on the back of typical instant-coffee packaging.
