The Flintstones smoke Winstons

The Flintstones is an American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions [and] was one of the most successful sitcoms of all time. Inspired by the 1950s live-action sitcom The Honeymooners, The Flintstones was about a working class caveman’s life with his family and his next door neighbor / best friend. The first prime time cartoon geared for adults, the show originally aired from 1960 to 1966, on the ABC network.

The series was initially aimed at adult audiences; the first season was sponsored by Winston cigarettes and the characters appeared in several commercials for Winstons.

Winston cigarettes are manufactured for or by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. They are named for Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the city where RJR was founded and headquartered.

The brand was introduced in 1954, and became the best-selling brand of cigarettes in the United States. It held the #1 spot from 1966 to 1972, thanks to the successful marketing slogan “Winston tastes good like a cigarette should.” In the last national survey in 2001, Winston ranks sixth in market value. It is also known for their claim of being “additive free” although a secondary warning label on their advertisements states that “no additives in our tobacco does NOT mean a safer cigarette.”

Smoking, particularly of cigarettes, is by far the main contributor to lung cancer, which at least in theory makes it one of the easiest diseases to prevent. In the United States, smoking is estimated to account for 87% of lung cancer cases (90% in men and 79% in women), and in the UK for 90%.

It is also an original ingredient for pudaejjige (also called budaechigae), a spicy stew with different types of preserved meat.

Mun Jung-hyuk (Korean: 문 정혁, Hanja: 文政革), born on February 16, 1979), also known as Eric, is a Korean entertainer, known mostly for his role as the lead rapper in the boy band Shinhwa, using the English name Eric. He has also branched out into drama acting, starting in 2003, under his birth name.

Red Stripe Don’t Throw Eggs

Red Stripe is a Jamaican lager-style beer whose logo is a bold, diagonal red stripe. It was originally brewed by the Desnoes and Geddes company (founded by Kingston natives Eugene Desnoes and Thomas Geddes) as early as 1928, but in 1993, that company was purchased by the huge multinational makers of Guinness, Diageo. It is 4.7% alcohol by volume.

Marmite Breastfeeding

Marmite is a British savoury spread made from yeast extract, a by-product of beer brewing. It is a sticky, dark brown paste with a distinctive, powerful taste that polarises consumer opinion. This is reflected in the company’s marketing slogan: “Love it or hate it”.

Breastfeeding is the feeding of an infant or young child with milk from a woman’s breasts. Babies have a sucking reflex that enables them to suck and swallow milk. Experimental evidence suggests that, with few exceptions, human breast milk is the best source of nourishment for human infants. Experts still disagree about how long breastfeeding should continue to gain the most benefit, and how much extra risk is involved in using breast milk substitutes.

Vomiting (also throwing up or emesis) is the forceful expulsion of the contents of one’s stomach through the mouth and sometimes the nose. Vomiting may result from many causes, ranging from gastritis or poisoning to brain tumors, or elevated intracranial pressure (ICP). The feeling that one is about to vomit is called nausea.

The Coca-Cola drink has a high degree of identification with the United States itself, being considered by some an “American Brand” or to a small extent as an item representing America. The identification with the spread of American culture has led to the pun “Coca-Colanization”. The drink is also often a metonym for the Coca-Cola Company.
