Padma Parvati Lakshmi (born September 1, 1970) is an Indian American cookbook author, actress, and former model who has described herself as the first well-known model from India. She has been the host of the reality television program Top Chef since season two. Lakshmi was brought up as a vegetarian and has admitted that because of this, she sometimes becomes “squeamish” when sampling other cultural delicacies. However, in 2009, she starred in a commercial for the Carl’s Jr. restaurant chain eating a Western Bacon Cheeseburger and credits the chain from bringing her away from vegetarianism.

Hardee’s is a restaurant chain, located mostly in the Midwest United States and Southeast regions. It has evolved through several corporate ownerships since being established in 1960. It is currently owned and operated by CKE Restaurants. Along with its sibling restaurant chain Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s is the #4 U.S. fast-food restaurant burger chain after McDonald’s, Burger King and Wendy’s.

Wendy’s Baconator Meatatarian

The Baconator sandwich is a hamburger sold by the international fast-food restaurant chain Wendy’s. It is one of their late-teen–to–young-adult, male-oriented products. [It] consists of two 4oz. beef patties, two slices of American cheese, six strips of bacon, mayonnaise, and ketchup on a premium bun.

Bacon may be eaten fried, baked, or grilled, or used as a minor ingredient to flavor dishes.

Roy Rogers Restaurants is a Northeastern United States chain of fast food restaurants founded by the Marriott Corporation in 1968 in Falls Church, Virginia. As of October 2008, Roy Rogers has approximately 51 locations. Roy Rogers’ menu consists primarily of hamburgers, roast beef sandwiches, fried chicken, french fries and beverages. The company’s primary target customer is adults and most items are prepared to order for each guest.

Roy Rogers (born Leonard Franklin Slye) (November 5, 1911 – July 6, 1998), was a singer and cowboy actor, as well as the founder of the the famous Roy Rogers Restaurants chain. He and his third wife Dale Evans, his golden palomino Trigger, and his German Shepherd Dog, Bullet, were featured in over one hundred movies and The Roy Rogers Show.

In December 2008, Burger King purchased the rights to an advertising campaign that centered around a taste-test marketing campaign, dubbed “Whopper Virgins.” The test claimed to target participants who were unaware of the existence of Burger King or McDonald’s, and had never eaten a hamburger. Three remote areas of the world – Baan Khun Chang Kiean, Thailand; Kulusuk, Greenland; and Budeşti, Romania were targeted. In the test, the “virgins” were asked to try both the McDonald’s Big Mac and the Burger King Whopper, and give their preference, if any. According to the advertisements and accompanying mini-documentary, the Whopper was the most popular sandwich among the test subjects.

Burger Chef was an American fast-food restaurant chain founded in 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The chain expanded throughout the United States, and at its peak, it was second only to McDonald’s in the number of locations nationwide. The chain featured several signature items such as the Big Shef and Super Shef burgers [and] later on, they pioneered the “Works Bar”, where customers could dress their burgers with condiments and vegetables exactly as they wanted.
