Jack in the Box’s New Sirloin Lawsuit

The sirloin steak is beef steak cut from the lower portion of the ribs, continuing off the tenderloin from which filet mignon is cut.

Angus are hardy, undemanding, adaptable, mature at around two years of age, and have a high carcass yield with marbled meat. As of the latter part of 2003 and early 2004, the American fast food industry has assisted in a public relations campaign to promote the supposedly superior quality of beef produced from Angus cattle (“Angus beef”).

In anatomy, the anus (from Latin ānus “ring, anus”) is the external opening of the rectum. Closure is controlled by sphincter muscles. Feces are expelled from the body through the anus during the act of defecation, which is the primary function of the anus.

In May of 2007, CKE Restaurants, Inc. filed a lawsuit against Jack in the Box, Inc. over two TV ads, The lawsuit claims the ads create a misleading impression that Jack In The Box’s new 100 percent sirloin hamburgers use a better quality of meat than the Angus beef used by Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s. The lawsuit claims the TV spots confuse consumers by comparing sirloin, a cut of meat found on all cattle, with Angus, which is a breed of cattle.

Frank’s Red Hot and saucy silk panties

[Frank’s Red Hot] is known as the secret ingredient in the first buffalo wing sauce, concocted in 1964 by Teressa Bellissimo at the Anchor Bar and Grill in Buffalo, New York. As the story goes, Teressa and her husband Frank were about to close up for the evening when a group of their son Dominic’s friends came in for a late night snack. To oblige them, Teressa prepared some chicken wings, splashed on a special sauce with Frank’s RedHot Sauce and added celery and blue cheese dressing.

GEICO offends at the airport

The Government Employees Insurance Company, usually known by the acronym GEICO, is an American auto insurance company. GEICO is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway and, as of 2006, provided coverage for more than 10 million motor cars, trucks and other motor vehicles owned by more than 7 million policy holders. GEICO writes private passenger automobile insurance in the District of Columbia and in all U.S. states except Massachusetts.

Röyksopp are a Norwegian electronic music duo from Tromsø formed in 1998. The duo consists of Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland. Røyksopp is the Norwegian word for the class of mushrooms known as puffballs, but the band’s name substitutes ö for the second letter (in place of ø).

Mr. Sub, originally called Mr. Submarine before the 1990s, is a popular submarine sandwich store chain in Canada. The first store was opened in 1968 in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood which was then known for its hippie culture. There are now over 341 restaurants all across Canada.

Edward Scissorhands is a 1990 American fantasy film, directed and co-written by Tim Burton and written by Caroline Thompson. The film features Johnny Depp in the titular role as Edward Scissorhands: a lonely, naive and child-like man with scissors for hands.

Volkswagen Bollocks

Volkswagen AG, or VW, is an automobile manufacturer based in Wolfsburg, Germany. It forms the core of Volkswagen Group and is the world’s fourth largest car producer after Toyota, GM and Ford, respectively.

The name means “people’s car” in German. Its German tagline is “Aus Liebe zum Automobil”, which is translated as “For the love of the car” – or, “For Love of the People’s Cars”, as translated by VW in other languages, though in direct translation it reads “Out of love for the car.”

“Bollocks” is a word of Anglo Saxon origin, meaning testicles in British English and in Hiberno-English. The word is often used figuratively, most commonly as a noun to mean “nonsense” or as an expletive following a minor accident or misfortune, but also in a number of other ways: as an adjective to mean “poor quality” or “useless”, as a noun to mean “top quality” or “perfection” (e.g., “That bike is the dog’s bollocks!”), and in various compound expressions.

Snakes do not chew their food and have a very flexible lower jaw, the two halves of which are not rigidly attached, and numerous other joints in their skull, allowing them to open their mouths wide enough to swallow their prey whole, even if it is larger in diameter than the snake itself. It is a common misconception that snakes actually dislocate their lower jaw to consume large prey.
