I drink Dr. Pepper and I’m proud

Arguably the most famous of Dr Pepper‘s advertising campaigns was their “Be a Pepper” series. These commercials referred to fans of Dr Pepper as “Peppers,” and often featured crowd dance scenes with elaborate, over-the-top choreography. One popular ad included the jingle:

“I’m a Pepper, He’s a Pepper
She’s a Pepper, We’re a pepper
Wouldn’t You Like to be a Pepper, Too?
Be a Pepper~ Drink Dr Pepper”

A jingle is a memorable slogan, set to an engaging melody, mainly broadcast on radio and sometimes on television commercials.

The McLean Deluxe is 91% fat free

The McLean Deluxe was a hamburger marketed as a healthy alternative to McDonald’s regular menu. It was released in the United States in 1991. It had a reduced fat content compared to other McDonald’s hamburgers. This was achieved through the addition of carrageenan to the meat.

Irish moss [is a species of red alga] and is a major source of carrageenan, which is commonly used as a thickener and stabilizer in milk products such as ice cream and processed foods including luncheon meat.

TaB is a Mindsticker

TaB is a diet cola. It was the first diet soft drink brand produced by the Coca-Cola Company. It was introduced in 1963 and has been reformulated several times. It was initially sweetened with cyclamate. After the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a ban on cyclamate in 1969, saccharin was used.

Cyclamate is an artificial sweetener that was discovered in 1937 at the University of Illinois by graduate student Michael Sveda. Like many artificial sweeteners, the sweetness of cyclamate was discovered by accident.

A&W Silly Jewelery

A&W [Root Beer] was first brewed in June 1919, in Lodi, California by Roy Allen. Allen sold the nickel root beer at a roadside stand at a parade for returning World War I veterans. Along with partner Frank Wright, Allen began A&W Restaurants, giving the root beer its name as well as eventually selling other food. At some A&W Restaurants the root beer is still prepared fresh, this accounting for the fact that the taste varies at each restaurant.

Mr. T was once reported to be earning around $80,000 a week for his role in The A-Team and getting $15,000 for personal appearances, but by the end of the 1990s, he was appearing only in the occasional commercial, largely because of health problems.

The word Pepsi comes from the Greek word “pepsi” (πέψη), which is a medical term, describing the food dissolving process within one’s stomach. It is also a medical term, that describes a problem with one’s stomach to dissolve foods properly.

However, Mountain Dew marketed in Australia and Canada, as well as several U.S. states, has no caffeine added at all.

Bohemian Rhapsody” is a song written by Freddie Mercury and originally recorded by the band Queen for their 1975 album A Night at the Opera. The song is in the style of a rock opera, and has a very unusual musical structure for a piece of popular music. Its six different sections have no chorus but both a cappella and heavy metal arrangements. Despite this, it was released as a single and became a huge commercial success, marking a decisive point in Queen’s career and setting them on the way to become one of the world’s most popular bands. The single was accompanied by what is generally cited as a groundbreaking music video (then termed a “promotional video”) which helped establish the visual language of the modern music video.
