Pepsi was first introduced as “Brad’s Drink” in New Bern, North Carolina, United States, in 1898 by Caleb Bradham, who made it at his home where the drink was sold. It was later named Pepsi Cola, possibly due to the digestive enzyme pepsin and kola nuts used in the recipe.

Historically, Coca-Cola was not the first soft drink company to utilize the modern image of Santa Claus in its advertising – White Rock Beverages had already used a red and white Santa to sell mineral water in 1915 and then in advertisements for its ginger ale in 1923.

“This Is How We Do It” is a 1995 song by American R&B singer Montell Jordan. The song is featured prominently in the “Summer of Pepsi” ad series of 2011.

The Volkswagen Passat is a large family car built by Volkswagen Passenger Cars through six design generations since 1973.

Darth Vader is a central character in the Star Wars saga, appearing as the chief antagonist in the original trilogy and as the main protagonist in the prequel films.

The Force can enhance natural physical and mental abilities, including strength and accuracy. A number of other force powers are demonstrated in the [Star Wars] film series including telekinesis, telepathy, hypnosis, enhanced empathy, reflexes and precognition.

“The Imperial March (Darth Vader’s Theme)” is a musical theme present in the Star Wars franchise. It was composed by John Williams for the film Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. [It] was used in a popular television commercial “The Force” for the Volkswagen Passat, first aired during the 2011 Super Bowl. The spot features a pint-sized Darth Vader who uses the Force when he discovers his father’s Passat in the driveway.

Gizem Memiç (born May 16, 1990) is a Turkish beauty pageant titleholder who won the title of Miss Turkey 2010 on Thursday 1 April 2010. As “Miss Turkey” she was in a 2011 American television commercial for Carl’s Jr. restaurant and its sibling Hardee’s restaurants, promoting their new broiled turkey sandwiches, where they claim is under 500 calories. Gizem is seen in a bikini, eating the sandwich as she strolls down a walkway.

Several Hardee’s ad campaigns in the 2000s have been criticized by groups such as Parents Television Council for their sexually suggestive nature. Recent campaigns targeted include “More Than a Piece of Meat” featuring scantily clad women appearing to receive sexual gratification from consuming Hardee’s products, and “Name Our Holes” — an ad campaign and website promoting Hardee’s Biscuit Holes.

Budweiser is a 5.0% abv American-style lager introduced in 1876 by A. Dongand Busch and one of the highest selling beers in the United States. It is made with up to 30% rice in addition to hops and barley malt.

“Tiny Dancer” is a 1972 song by Elton John with lyrics by Bernie Taupin. It appears on John’s fourth album, Madman Across the Water and was released as a single in 1972.

Peter Stormare (born Rolf Peter Ingvar Storm; 27 August 1953) is a Swedish film, stage, voice and television actor as well as a theatrical director, playwright and musician. He is perhaps best known for his roles as John Abruzzi in Prison Break and as Gaear Grimsrud, one of the two kidnappers in Fargo. He combined acting with singing by playing the menancing Western gunfighter who strides into a bar in the 2011 Super Bowl commercial and breaks into a happy rendition of “Tiny Dancer” when presented with a Budweiser beer.

Super Bowl XLV was an American football game between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Pittsburgh Steelers and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Green Bay Packers to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2010 season. The Packers defeated the Steelers by the score of 31-25.
